About Peel Vision

Dr Siew-Yin Then has provided a comprehensive eye service to the Peel/Mandurah and surrounding regions for almost a decade, and has established a reputation for compassionate and meticulous ophthalmic care of the highest standards.

Peel Vision was established by Dr Then in September 2014, with a view to creating a state-of-the art facility equipped with the most advanced technology, that is easily accessible to all patients, and provides advanced ophthalmic care in a friendly, comfortable and professional environment. At Peel Vision, our mission is to put the patient first, from the first consultation to the last, and to achieve world-standard levels of care and outcomes for every patient.

At Peel Vision, we diagnose, treat and monitor a wide range of eye conditions in our clinic, with no need to travel to Perth. Pre-operative cataract investigations are all performed in-house. In our dedicated laser and procedure room, patients can safely and comfortably undergo a wide variety of minor surgical procedures, including excision of minor eyelid lesions and intravitreal injections for wet macular degeneration. Precise eye laser procedures are performed on-site for conditions such as glaucoma and post-lens implant haze. For more major eye surgery, such as cataract, pterygium and oculoplastic surgery, Dr Then is accredited and operates at Peel Health Campus, with a highly-trained team of dedicated specialist ophthalmic theatre nurses.

Location:

Peel Vision is located in the Mandurah City Precinct, next to the Mandurah Community Centre just past the roundabout at the intersection of Sutton and Gibson St. We are an 8 min drive from Peel Health Campus, and 5 min drive from the Mandurah Train station. We are a short stroll from the beautiful Mandurah foreshore and central shopping/café strip.

Parking:

We have plenty of on-site parking bays at the rear of our clinic, so patients will never have a problem finding parking. There is also a disabled parking bay and drop-off spot at the front of our clinic, for easy access.

Opening hours:

We are open Monday to Friday, except for public holidays.

Our normal opening hours are 0800 – 1730 hours.
